Professional values

The principles of ethics of the legal profession which my practice is built on are those consecrated in the “Code of Conduct for Italian Lawyers” (approved by the Italian Council of Bar Associations in 2014), and in the “Charter of the Core Principles of the European Legal Profession and Code of Conduct of the European Lawyers” (approved by the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe in 2012): respect to the rule of law, independence, trust and personal integrity, professional competence, loyalty to the client, confidentiality, avoidance of conflicts of interest, respect towards clients, colleagues, counterparts, judges, and arbitrators, fair treatment of clients in relation to fees.

Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. As a peacemaker the lawyer has superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough.
